STRADA TAKES LAST RESTAURANT UNIT IN THE CURRENT PHASE OF THE MAILBOX, BIRMINGHAM

Strada, the pizza and pasta operator, has acquired the last remaining restaurant unit in the current phase of The Mailbox in Birmingham, West Midlands.

Strada has taken a 3,500 sq ft (325 sq m) unit on a new 25-year lease, joining a line up of restaurants including Café Rouge, Zizzi, Sante Fe, Malmaison Brasserie, Estilo and recently opened The Oriental.

Construction of the final phase of The Mailbox, The Cube is due to commence in the near future. It will provide an additional 500,000 sq ft (46,450 sq m) of shops, restaurants, offices, apartments and hotels and will take the entire development to in excess of two million sq ft (185,800 sq m) making it one of the UK’s largest mixed-use developments.
