Jones Lang LaSalle was crowned Retail Agency Team of the Year, in front of more than 1,000 people, at the prestigious Property Awards 2009, held at London’s Grosvenor Hotel last night, by Property Week Magazine.
A senior panel of five client side judges, drawn from the likes of Hammerson and Grosvenor, was impressed by the seamless integration of Churston Heard retail consultancy into Jones Lang LaSalle and the success the expanded team has achieved with its work on more than 600 high street shops and 32m sq ft of shopping centres.
Guy Grainger, Jones Lang LaSalle’s head of retail said “This demonstrates that the JLL retail team understands the challenges being faced by retailers and landlords in this market and can still find the balance to match these different needs. It’s challenging but not impossible.”
