BELSTAFF RIDES INTO PRINCES SQUARE FOR ITS FIRST STORE IN SCOTLAND

June 30, 2009

Celebrities’ favourite fashion and accessories retailer Belstaff has chosen Redevco’s Princes Square, Glasgow, for its first store in Scotland.
Belstaff, as worn by the likes of George Clooney and Ewan McGregor, will take a 929 sq ft store, paying £92,000 pa on a 10 year lease, with nine months’ rent free. Princes Square, situated on Glasgow’s prime retail pitch of Buchanan Street, houses more than 45 exclusive shops and restaurants including Kurt Geiger, Vivienne Westwood and Space NK.

David Smith, portfolio director at REDEVCO UK, said: “The choice of shops at Princes Square is always improving; and provides the perfect base for exclusive fashion stores like Belstaff.”

Cushman & Wakefield and CWM advised REDEVCO. Belscott leased the store and will trade as Belstaff.
