KINGSWAY SHOPPING CENTRE’S BRAND NEW 1,050 SPACE CAR PARK IS OPEN

Kingsway Shopping Centre, owned by UBS Triton Property Fund, opened its state of the art car park in the centre of Newport on 31st July 2009.

The 1,050 space car park, which includes 30 disabled and parent/child spaces, is located alongside the modern Kingsway Shopping Centre, in the heart of City centre, near to the Library, the Theatre and the Leisure Centre.

Kingsway Car Park will open between 8 am and midnight providing Newport with modern, secure and accessible parking, in the most modern parking environment in the City; Annual season tickets will be available. The new Kingsway Car Park will provide a modern alternative to the Capitol Car Park which is due to close shortly.

Tom Tyler from Chester Properties, asset managers for the scheme, said: “The car park is a great addition to the newly refurbished Kingsway Shopping Centre. Newport’s shoppers and visitors can now have direct access to the shopping centre from the car park, for hassle free visits to the likes of Wilkinson, Top Shop, Body Care and the improved Peacocks and Boswells Cafe opening in September.”
