NEW RETAILERS AND MORE SHOPPERS FOR KINGSWAY, NEWPORT

UBS Triton Property Fund, has let a 9,000 sq ft unit at Kingsway Shopping Centre, in the heart of Newport to value retailer Poundland.  The letting announcement follows on from the successful launch of Kingsway’s new state of the art 1,080 space car park, which has provided direct, easy access to Newport’s prime shopping centre.
More positive news comes from Boswell’s restaurant and cafe which has confirmed it is very happy with its trading above expectations since its mid September opening.  Other retailers at Kingsway include Top Shop, Body Care, Evans and the refitted 10,000 sq ft Peacocks.

Tom Tyler of Chester Properties, asset managers for the Kingsway Centre, said “The new lettings and the positive trading news is great news for Kingsway and the City of Newport.   We are in discussions with other retailers and hope to conclude these in the run u to Christmas.”
