December 7, 2009

Fashion footwear retailer Aldo, advised by Harper Dennis Hobbs, has signed for a new store at 76 High Street on the upper level of the Meadowhall centre near Sheffield. This takes Aldo’s UK and Irish Portfolio up to 34 stores.

The retailer will open a 2,139 sq ft (199 sq m) ground floor store in Meadowhall on a new 10 year lease.  David Purslow of Harper Dennis Hobbs commented “Aldo have been targeting this location in Meadowhall for some time so we are delighted to secure this unit in the face of strong competition from other footwear retailers”.
Harper Dennis Hobbs acted for Aldo. Smith Young Partnership and CBRE acted for British Land.
