Pharmaceutical wholesaler, East Midlands Pharma, has taken a 16,500 sq ft warehouse unit at Highcross’ Old Dalby Business Park, Melton Mowbray.
Highcross has let the unit on a six-year lease to the company, which is relocating its warehouse operations from a nearby industrial estate.
Managing director, Kevan Abley said: “This facility gives us the space to merge our two separate sites into one location. We needed to find new premises which would be convenient for our existing staff, the majority of whom live locally, and Old Dalby’s location and on-site security met our requirements.”
Since acquiring the Old Dalby Business Park in 2007, Highcross has carried out extensive refurbishment at the scheme and recently began a further phase of improvements. Highcross asset manager, Joe Curlett, said: “We are delighted that East Midlands Pharma has moved to Old Dalby, after operating at an adjoining estate for a number of years. The lease term and extent of occupier fit out, is a demonstration of the company’s commitment to the business park.”
The Old Dalby Business Park has industrial and manufacturing units from 16,000 sq ft to 82,000 sq ft, available on freehold or flexible lease arrangements. Among the facilities are secure gated entrance and barriers, on-site estate manager and CCTV, plus cafe and meeting room for occupiers.
Agents for Old Dalby Business Park are Andrew and Ashwell.
