FINANCE COMPANY COMES IN FIRST AT HIGHCROSS’ BOAT RACE HOUSE

Highcross has let 4,200 sq ft at its Boat Race House office building in Mortlake to Merchant Cash Express.

The company has taken the top floor of the 21,920 sq ft office scheme on Mortlake High Street, which has stunning views over the River Thames. Highcross has let the space on a five-year lease at a rent of £15 per sq ft.

Merchant Cash Express provides alternative business funding for small and medium sized businesses across the UK. The company, which was set up in 2007, is moving to Boat Race House from serviced accommodation in Mortlake, following expansion.

Director, Ian Morrison comments: “We were looking for office space which would be convenient for our existing staff and have room for further growth in the future. Boat Race House offered a very attractive working environment in an ideal location, close to our current offices.”

Highcross has also let two small terrace units, which adjoin Boat Race House, to Vision Financial Management and The Latitude Idea Factory. These units have also been let on five-year leases at a rent of £15 per sq ft.

Located less than ten miles from central London and close to Mortlake station, Boat Race House has been fully refurbished by Highcross and offers high quality, open plan office space with secure car parking at the rear of the building.

Highcross asset manager, Debbie Marshall comments: “A combination of very competitive rent deals and active marketing have kick started interest in Boat Race House, with three lettings completed since the start of the year.”
