Miller Developments has appointed Alistair MacKenzie as Director of its Alba Business Park in Livingston.
MacKenzie, who has more than 28 years experience in the commercial property sector, will be responsible for the management, marketing, lettings, future development and disposals at Alba.
Pamela Grant, Development Director, Miller Developments, said: “Alba is growing in its reputation as a quality business environment. The tenant line up remains impressive and although the market is still facing a challenging time, we feel that the time is right to invest in Alba to ensure that we are in the position to take full advantage when the market returns.
“Alistair brings a wealth of experience with him and is a welcome addition to our team.”
Alistair said: “I am delighted to be joining Miller Developments. Alba is a first class offering with great potential for both owner occupiers and tenants. We are already experiencing a rise in the number of enquiries and many small and local businesses are using the current market place to put out their requirements.
“I have worked with Miller in my previous roles so this is a wonderful opportunity to continue past relationships. The time is right for Alba to receive greater focus due to its excellent location and quality of offering. I am confident that before long we will be turning our pipeline of healthy enquiries into signed tenants.”
The 94.9 acre Alba Business Park, located near Livingston town centre, provides a variety of high quality office accommodation, suiting both small office use, medium to larger space requirements and headquarters buildings. With excellent on site facilities including a nursery and health & fitness club, Alba is already home to pharmaceutical company Quintiles and whisky firm Glenmorangie – who will complete work on a new bottling depot and offices later this year. Alba Business Pavilions, a 31,500 sq ft office development completed by Miller Developments in 2008, comprises part of the offering and provides units ranging from 1,720 sq ft to 8,810 sqft; tenants include Compass Contract Services and The Jane Moore Trust.
