Two of the world’s most popular fashion labels will open new stores at Denmark’s Premier Outlet Center Ringsted, a joint venture between the UK’s Miller Developments and Denmark’s TK Developments. These latest tenants are part of a surge in activity at Ringsted which has resulted in a 50% increase in lettings, a 20% increase in sales and a 23% increase in visitors over the last 12 months.
Italian brand Diesel has taken a 370 m2 store and Dutch brand G-Star Raw will open a 327 m2 shop at the 13,000 m2 Premier Outlet Centre, Denmark’s first and only purpose-built outlet centre, located 45 minutes from Copenhagen. The shops will join other internationally renowned fashion brands including Hugo Boss, Mango, Nike, Miss Sixty and Levi’s, and local Scandinavian brands such as Samsøe & Samsøe, Modström and b.young.
Neil Johnston, European Director for Miller Developments says: “G Star Raw and Diesel will complement our high quality tenant line-up perfectly. We’ve had strong demand from both internationally recognised classic brands and strong Scandinavian labels, who are keen to benefit from the ever increasing number of shoppers at POC Ringsted. Our customers are spending an average of €250 per visit, which is a reflection on the centre’s offer of quality designer labels at heavily discounted prices.”
The Diesel store opened on 01 May 2010, with G-Star Raw due to open before the end of May. Miller Developments and TK Developments were represented by Cushman & Wakefield and GVA Grimley; G Star Raw and Diesel were unrepresented.
