Fresh USC design to be unveiled at new St David’s store

July 22, 2010

One of the UK’s leading branded fashion retailers, USC is set to roll-out its new store format at St.David’s, Cardiff in October.

The new format, already successfully adopted at the Metro Centre, will bring an entirely new look to St.David’s with a striking emphasis on denim and footwear as well as male and female fashion.

The 9,621 sq ft store will offer customers a one-stop-shop to all the major brands including Diesel, G-Star, Replay, Adidas and many, many more.

Jim McGonigle, chief executive of USC, said: “We are delighted to be opening USC at St David’s, Cardiff. The quality of the consumer and the excellent retail line up, not only reinforces Cardiff’s standing in the UK retail rankings but it will provide an excellent opportunity for USC to present our new store design.”

Joanne Skilton, of Capital Shopping Centres (CSC), on behalf of St David’s Partnership, the joint venture between CSC and Land Securities, said: “Fashion retailing at St David’s has grown extensively over the past year and USC will add a valuable new dimension to the fashion mix on the upper level. We are also looking forward to seeing USC’s new store innovation come to life.”

Lunson Mitchenall, Cushman & Wakefield and EJ Hales advise Capital Shopping Centres; CBRE advised USC.
