Highcross has let a 2,000 sq ft suite at its Burlington House office building in Hedge End, Southampton, to international management and construction consultants Gleeds.
The company, which has taken a ten-year lease, is relocating its Winchester-based team to Burlington House. The 30,000 sq ft, three-storey office building is located on the Botleigh Grange office campus, and was acquired by Highcross in early 2009.
Gleeds will be providing cost management, project management, CDM co-ordination and BREEAM assessments from its new Southampton office, to a varied client base across the UK including blue chip companies and public sector organisations.
Local director, Tony Deacon, said Burlington House offered the benefits of modern, contemporary office space, with easy access to the motorway network and train connections: “We were looking for additional space following expansion of our client portfolio and new project gains throughout the south. We are very pleased and excited to be moving to Burlington House with its excellent working environment, where I feel Gleeds will be able to continue its successful expansion.”
Highcross asset manager, Debbie Marshall added: “Burlington House offers a great combination of high specification office space and good transport links and we’re delighted that Gleeds has chosen to locate its new Southampton office here. Following this latest letting, we have just 3,000 sq ft available at the building.”
