Scottish Widows Investment Partnership (SWIP), advised by Edgerley Simpson Howe, has re-let the Freeman & Sons retail warehouse at 4a, Trafford Retail Park, Redditch to Home Bargains.

SWIP agreed a surrender of the grocer’s lease and secured planning consent for a 2,200 sq ft extension to create a refurbished 7,500 sq ft unit which has been taken by Home Bargains on a 15-year lease. The new rent is £17.50 per sq ft and the tenant will take occupation in May when the extension and refurbishment are complete.
