Highcross has let a 1,394 sq ft unit at its Central City industrial estate in Coventry to local company, CMS Engineering, which specialises in industrial pipe work, pipe welding and general fabrication.
CMS Engineering has taken the unit on a five year lease. The company provides workshop-based and site fabrication and welding, as well as a complete design and installation service. CMS also recently invested in facilities for plastic fabrication.
Following this latest letting, the 20-acre estate, which includes twenty-four terraced units and six large warehouse and industrial buildings, only has one 2,341 sq ft unit available.
CMS Engineering’s managing director, Barry Joyce, comments: “We were looking for larger premises, with good security, and were impressed by the look of the estate and the way it is managed by Highcross.”
Located in Red Lane, Coventry, the estate is less than one mile north-east of the city centre and has easy access to the M6 via the A444.
Highcross asset manager, Helen Barker adds: “The estate continues to be very popular with companies looking for light industrial and warehouse accommodation and at present is 99% occupied, following this latest letting to CMS Engineering and the completion of lease renewals with existing occupiers Weblight and Rico Logistics.”
Agents for Central City Industrial Estate are D&P Holt and North Rae Sanders.
