Path Intelligence on Route to 1000 Lakeside

Path Intelligence, a leading edge specialist in customer flow technology, is moving its head office to Highcross’ 1000 Lakeside office building, Portsmouth.

Highcross has let 4,200 sq ft to Path Intelligence on a five-year lease. The company will be located on the second floor of 1000 Lakeside, overlooking the lake.

Path Intelligence’s Footpath system was the first to use mobile phone technology to provide retailers with continuous, valuable information on how customers use their stores. Working with shopping centres and individual retailers, the company helps improve performance and productivity, through providing data on customer flow and shopper habits, in particular how customers group visits to specific stores.

The technology can also be used by museums, exhibition centres, galleries, airports and railway stations, to help them understand the way visitors or passengers travel through specific areas.

Path Intelligence chief executive, Sharon Biggar comments: “We had outgrown our current premises and 1000 Lakeside offered the expansion space we required. It is a beautiful place to be located, with plenty of natural light in the offices and great surroundings. Highcross was also very helpful and flexible in providing us with space to meet our current needs and future growth plans.”

Path Intelligence, which was set up five years ago, now operates across the UK, Europe and the USA.

Highcross director, Nick Turner, added: “This latest letting is indicative of the exciting range of companies which 1000 Lakeside is attracting, including successful local entrepreneurs, established regional companies, a major retail business and innovative technology companies. The stunning working environment, flexible space and location have continued to be major factors in the 27,000 sq ft of space let at 1000 Lakeside in the last two months.”  

 Located adjacent to Junction 12 of the M27 at the gateway to Portsmouth, the air-conditioned, four-floor 1000 Lakeside office building is set in extensively landscaped grounds and has almost 1,000 car parking spaces. Office space is available up to 72,000 sq ft, with a Regus business centre also located on site for companies requiring smaller accommodation.
