Lingerie retail brand La Senza has boosted its offer in Capital Shopping Centres’ Lakeside by opening a new store within the centre.
The retailer has upsized into a new 2,981 sq ft store, an expansion of its former unit at the House of Fraser end of the lower mall by amalgamating with the neighbouring unit. As well as expanding the range, the new store has enabled the retailer to introduce its recently launched new shopfit which comprises luxurious fitting rooms and the new La Senza brand colours of ivory and black throughout.
Jonathan Ainsley, director of asset management (south) at CSC London, said: “La Senza has always performed well in Lakeside so we are delighted to have been able to work in partnership with them to raise their profile yet further in the centre. The opening follows the launch of fellow lingerie brand Boux Avenue in April and continues a raft of great openings for Lakeside which later this year will also include new stores for fashion retailers Choice, BHS and TopShop/Topman and a fantastic flagship for Forever 21 next year.”
Sarah Hawkins, marketing director at La Senza said: “The Lakeside store is one of our flagship stores and has performed very successfully for us so the opportunity to increase the breadth of our offer in Lakeside, as well as introduce our latest shopfit was too good to miss.”
Lakeside was represented by Lunson Mitchenall and CWM while MMX Retail advised La Senza.
