New flagship for Choice at CSC’s Lakeside

Premium multi-brand fashion retailer Choice has opened its new flagship megastore at Capital Shopping Centres’ Lakeside.

The retailer opened a 7,841 sq ft megastore, which anchors Brompton Walk, at the end of last week following a glitzy opening party. The new store is the fourth time the retailer, which has been in Lakeside since it opened, has upsized. The new store almost doubles the space that Choice previously operated from and features a high impact lineal frontage that exceeds 40 metres.

Laurence Davis, managing director of Choice, said: “The brief for our new flagship was three words – ‘simple, classy and luxurious’ and we think we have achieved that. We are very excited about how the new store looks and the fact that we are bringing premium brands from the West End into Lakeside in a showcase environment.”

Jonathan Ainsley, director of asset management (south) at CSC London said: “We are thrilled to see the new Choice store open at Lakeside and wish the team all the best. It is a major anchor for Brompton Walk and will be followed by further specialised fashion lettings in that part of the centre. It also follows the opening of a new flagship store for bridal boutique Confetti & Lace, which opened in Bromptom Walk in June.”
