Schuh Signs HDH For London Expansion

November 22, 2011

Footwear retailer Schuh, which has been acquired by US footwear giant Genesco, has appointed Harper Dennis Hobbs (HDH) to expand its presence within London.

HDH has been tasked with finding new stores in the Central and Greater London area for Schuh to fill in gaps where the retailer feels it is under represented.

Schuh, which has this year celebrated its 30th birthday, has most recently opened in Westfield’s Stratford City in London and is now looking at key locations including Regent Street, Knightsbridge, Victoria and Brent Cross as well as a number of key surburban towns too.

Tim Newman, director of HDH said: “Schuh is a highly successful multi-brand footwear concept that stocks more than 90 well known and emerging footwear brands within its stores and it is very complementary to the leading fashion brands trading in the UK. We are thrilled to be able to help them with their expansion within the capital.”
