Helios Europe signs former senior Goodman director

Helios Europe, the pan-European logistics development company headed by Mike Hughes, has appointed Peter Peeters (BSc Civil Engineering & PrEng in RSA) as CTO (Chief Technical Officer) with responsibility for all technical matters associated with the company’s €1 billion development programme. He will oversee the Company’s construction pipeline, provide commercial support to the development teams and help the Board develop its business strategy for both the UK and European markets. He joins the Company on the 1st of December 2011.

Previously a director of Goodman and prior to that Eurinpro, Mr. Peeters has overseen more than 60 million sq ft of logistics development throughout the UK and continental Europe in a career spanning over 20 years.

Helios Europe recently secured €100 million of funding for its development pipeline from Tristan Capital Partners, the private equity real estate firm.

Helios Europe, formed and led by CEO Mike Hughes, has development teams in London and Vienna and a balanced portfolio of development projects in the UK, Central and Western Europe.
