Thorne Road Retail Park Fills Up With Iceland

December 6, 2011

Iceland Foods is to take a new store at Thorne Road Retail Park on the edge of Doncaster, after signing a new deal with landlords Perland Properties, jointly advised by Morgan Williams and BNP Paribas.

The retailer will open an 8,000 sq ft store at unit four on the 84,000 sq ft retail park after signing a new 15 year lease with an initial rent of £100,000 pa – representing approximately £12.50 per sq ft.

The unit, which is adjacent to Dunelm and B&M Stores, was recently granted food retail consent. Other tenants on the retail park include Wren Kitchens.

Morgan Williams and BNP Paribas are joint agents for Perland Properties, the owners of Thorne Road Retail Park. Iceland was represented by Mason Owen & Partners.
