Loake Shoemaker Ties Up Princes Arcade Shop

Loake Shoemakers has opened a new store in London’s Princes Arcade in the West End after signing for a store with landlord Aviva, advised by Kitchen LaFrenais Morgan.

Loake will open a two floor store comprising a 200 sq ft ground floor and 196 sq ft mezzanine at Unit 8-10 and will pay £28,000 pa on a new 10 year lease.

Loake has been making handmade men’s shoes for more than 130 years since its formation by three brothers in Northamptonshire. In 2007 the company was awarded a Royal Warrant of Appointment to the Queen. It has produced shoes for the likes of Martin Freeman, Bill Nighy and Andrew Flintoff.

The landlord Aviva was represented by Kitchen La Frenais Morgan.
