Salmon Harvester Secures Reading Trade Park Letting

Salmon Harvester Opportunity Fund, the £150m opportunity fund set up between Salmon Harvester Properties and NFU Mutual, has secured a major new letting at Stadium Trade & Business Park in West Reading.

Halfords Autocentres, the motoring specialist, has taken a 7,904 sq ft warehouse unit on a new ten-year lease from which it will operate an MOT, servicing and repair business. It opens Monday 16 April.

Simon Allen, Network Development Manger at Halfords Autocentres said, “ Opening a new centre on the Stadium Trade and Business Park is a significant move for us as it provides an opportunity to serve the west of Reading which has been a priority target and will complement our existing centre on Long Barn Lane”.

James Ansher, Asset Manager at Salmon Harvester, said: “This letting is an expression of confidence in Stadium Trade and Business Park and further proof that demand for trade accommodation in West Reading remains high.” 

Other occupiers at Stadium Trade & Business Park include ScrewFix, Mr Clutch, Benchmarx Kitchens and Joinery, Howdens and Plumb Centre.

Salmon was represented by Haslams and Jones Lang LaSalle. Richards Chartered Surveyors represented Halfords Autocentres.
