Mercer Real Estate Partners and Peakside Capital have secured the first occupier at their 41,700 sq ft newly refurbished office building at 80 Hammersmith Road, west London.
Estate agent Marsh and Parsons has taken 9,000 sq ft on the ground and first floors as a new head office. The company has signed a 10-year lease and will pay a rent of £36 per sq ft, subject to a rent free period.
The six-storey office building was acquired from the Prudential by the joint venture partners in early 2011. It underwent a full refurbishment to provide modern air conditioned office space and was launched on to the market this February.
Martin Claisse of Mercer Real Estate says: “This letting highlights our faith in the west London office sector which is bucking the national trend and we already have serious interest in the remaining space.”
Hanover Green and Strutt & Parker acted for landlord while JWM Barnard advised the tenant.
