The Cornmill Shopping centre in Darlington has boosted its retail offer with two new store openings.
Designer fashion retailer Bank, which is owned by JD Sports, is to open a 4,400 sq ft store in the scheme after signing a 10 year lease. Bank is taking on a former unit occupied by fellow fashion retailer Quiz.
Quiz meanwhile is relocating into a 1,700 sq ft unit in the centre. It has signed a five year lease for the new store. Quiz was founded in 1995 and has 115 stores and concessions across the UK as well as 51 franchises in Europe and Asia.
The centre is owned by Darlington Centre Limited, for which Moorfield Property Group is the investment and asset manager, other key anchors in the centre include Primark, Next and Topshop.
The Cornmill Shopping Centre was acquired by Darlington Centre Limited in November 2006 and is managed by Plus Shops Retail Ltd.
Kitchen La Frenais Morgan and Barker Proudlove advised the landlord while Bank was represented by Bradys and Quiz was represented by CWM.
