Landlord B&Q Properties Ltd, advised by Edgerley Simpson Howe, has agreed two pre-lets at its Golden ValleyRetail Park in Cheltenham.
Home Bargains, which has more than 260 stores across the UK, has signed a 15 year lease on a 10,000 sq ft unit at a rent of £15 per sq ft, while Pets at Home has signed a 10 year lease on a 4,000 sq ft unit at £18 per sq ft. Pets at Home has over 320 stores. The scheme is anchored by a B&Q mini-warehouse store and garden centre and is next to a new Asda foodstore.
Construction is due to start this month on both stores, to provide access in time for trading in early 2013.
