Berkshire appliance specialist Apple Electrics has agreed a letting at a trade unit owned by Salmon Harvester on Stadium Way in Reading.
The business is moving to Unit 12 at the Stadium Trade and Business Park, which is owned by the Salmon Harvester Opportunity Fund, a £150m joint venture between Salmon Harvester Properties and NFU Mutual. It has agreed a 15-year lease on the 6,100 sq ft unit, at a rent rising to £43,750 pa.
James Ansher, asset manager at Salmon Harvester, said: “This letting is a further expression of confidence in Stadium Trade and Business Park, and shows there is strong demand from local and national companies for trade accommodation in west Reading.”
Apple Electrics sells and repairs domestic appliances, and has operated throughout Berkshire for more than 30 years. It is moving to the unit to consolidate from three sites on Oxford Road. The park is just over one mile west of Reading town centre.
It joins other tenants on the park including Screwfix, Plumb Centre, Halfords Autocentres Benchmark Kitchens, Mr Clutch Autocentre, and Howdens.
Salmon Harvester was represented by Haslams and Jones Lang LaSalle.
