Gerry Weber Boosts Store Numbers With Two New Signings

Lifestyle fashion retailer Gerry Weber, advised by Kitchen La Frenais Morgan, has secured two new stores as part of its continued expansion of the brand. The new stores will open in Bishops Stortford and Oxford.

Gerry Weber will open a two floor store at 24 South Street in Bishops Stortford which will comprise a ground floor of 1,298 sq ft of space and a 721 sq ft first floor of ancillary space. The retailer has signed a 10 year lease and will pay a rent of £40,000 a year.

The retailer will also open a two floor store at 114 High Street in Oxford. The store will comprise a 926 sq ft ground floor and a 172 sq ft basement of ancillary space. Gerry Weber has taken a 10 year lease and will pay a rent of £56,185 per annum.

Gerry Weber UK was represented in both deals by its retained agents Kitchen La Frenais Morgan. The landlord for the Bishops Stortford property, Battlecroft, was advised by Jones Lang LaSalle. The landlord in Oxford, Shepherd & Woodward, was represented by VSL.
