LRE Completes William Hill Letting In Leicester

London & Regional Estates, advised by Kitchen La Frenais Morgan, has let a former bank in Leicester city centre to betting shop operator William Hill.

LRE has let the 2,700 sq ft unit at 14-16 Haymarket on a 20-year lease at an annual rent of £70,000. The deal includes a six-month rent-free period, rent reviews every five years, and a break clause in 2023.

The deal also involved taking a surrender of the lease of existing tenant NatWest Bank, which had ceased trading in the unit and was due to exit its lease in 2014. The unit is opposite the Haymarket Shopping Centre and close to Highcross Leicester.

DTZ acted for NatWest. William Hill was unrepresented.
