Highcross has let a 2,567 sq ft unit at its Conqueror Court office scheme near Sittingbourne, to San Gabriel UK Limited.
The 40,000 sq ft Conqueror Court scheme, which was jointly developed by Highcross and Cantium Developments, now has less than 6,500 sq ft of office space still available.
San Gabriel UK Limited, a fruit import and export company, has taken Unit 5 on a five year lease. The company, which opened its UK operation in 2009, was looking for larger office space close to its warehouse facilities at Rainham, following expansion.
Ana Rodrigues, Finance Controller at San Gabriel UK comments: “Conqueror Court offered the benefits of the right location, new offices which were well fitted out and good facilities. Recent expansion of our sales team, and an increase in the volume of fresh produce in our warehouse, meant that we needed to operate from larger stand alone premises, and our new offices provide a much better working environment for staff and visitors and easy access to our storage and distribution facilities.”
Conqueror Court includes eleven high quality office buildings, available leasehold or freehold, and located two miles from the M2, fronting the A249. The development is well served by a range of local amenities, including a hotel, restaurant and the Meads Local Centre, which offers a convenience store, pharmacy, take away restaurants and other retail facilities.
Highcross asset management director, Nick Turner, comments: “Conqueror Court’s location close to the motorway network, high specification space, ease of parking and attractive rent packages, have been important factors in attracting a wide range of companies and the scheme is now approaching full occupation, with just one 5,116 sq ft unit and a 1,342 sq ft office suite remaining available.”
