Orchard Street Investment Management has appointed retail agency GCW as joint letting agent on The Cascades shopping centre in Portsmouth.
Orchard Street Investment Management has named GCW as joint letting agent with Sanderson Weatherall. The 246,100 sq ft centre is the city’s leading shopping centre and is anchored by Primark, Marks & Spencer and H&M. It was remodelled in 2008 to create space for Next, TK Maxx, Dorothy Perkins and Bhs.
There are currently five units vacant in the centre, measuring from 250 sq ft up to 15,000 sq ft. GCW and Sanderson Weatherall will focus on improving the centre’s tenant mix, with a focus on the mass market fashion offer.
One of the most recent lettings was to clothing store Internacionale in November 2012, which has proved to be one of the chain’s most successful store openings. Internacionale runs more than 140 shops across the UK, alongside its online store.
