Bluu Move To Highcross’ Livery Place, Birmingham

February 7, 2013

Highcross has let 1,389 sq ft at its Livery Place office building in Birmingham to office design and project management company, Bluu.

The company, which has its head office in London, opened its first regional office in Birmingham last year to serve clients throughout the UK, and due to expansion needs following business success was looking for larger premises.

Located in the city’s business district, the 60,000 sq ft Livery Place building provides flexible Grade A office space, with the added benefits of on-site management and car parking. Bluu has taken the top floor office space on a four-year lease.

Gary Tailby, Director responsible for Bluu’s regional operations, said Livery Place provided a good fit for the company: “Livery Place offered all the facilities we needed, the right location in the city’s business district, close to  public transport, and the right profile for our business, all at a good price compared to the rest of the market.”

Bluu specialises in the refurbishment and fit out of commercial interior and exterior projects for public and private sector clients, working in partnership with professional teams, including agents, architects, surveyors and engineers.

Highcross associate director, Joe Curlett adds: “Bluu has taken a refurbished suite on the top floor of Livery Place which had already been fitted out to a high standard and provided the meeting room space and other facilities which it was looking for, at a competitive price. Following this latest letting, we are now focusing work on the final phase of refurbishment of the last remaining 9,100 sq ft floor plate.”

Agents for Highcross at Livery Place are CBRE and GBR Phoenix Beard.
