Aberdeen Hires GCW For Hemel Hempstead Centre

May 20, 2013

Aberdeen Asset Management has hired retail specialist GCW as joint letting agent at its Riverside Shopping Centre in Hemel Hempstead.

GCW has been appointed joint letting agent, alongside Angermann Goddard & Loyd, to bolster the tenant mix in the 320,000 sq ft scheme. Riverside Shopping Centre is anchored by Debenhams and other tenants include H&M, Next, TK Maxx, Waterstones, Starbucks and Monsoon. Leisure operators include Pizza Express, Premier Inn and Anytime Fitness.

There are currently six units vacant in the centre, measuring between 1,600 sq ft and 9,900 sq ft. These include a prominent 3,000 sq ft ground-floor leisure unit. Aberdeen would also consider merging three of the units to create a 10,500 sq ft flagship retail store.

The Riverside Shopping Centre is located in the centre of Hemel Hempstead, which is one of Hertfordshire’s largest towns and enjoys excellent transport links into London.
