Highcross has completed two new lettings at Kembrey Park, Swindon, attracting new occupiers, Alder King and the Wolverest Group.
Property consultants, Alder King, have taken a 1,199 sq ft suite at Cherry Orchard West on a six-year lease. The firm, which has seven offices across the South West and South Wales, is relocating its Swindon office from its previous base in Old Town Swindon.
Partner, James Gregory said the firm was attracted by Kembrey Park’s vibrant business environment and the flexibility of the Cherry Orchard suites: “It’s a very attractive location and Highcross was able to provide the exact configuration of space to meet our needs.”
Highcross has also completed the letting of 1,320 sq ft at Cherry Orchard North to the Wolverest Group on a five-year lease. The company, which provides event medical coverage, patient transport, medical/first aid training courses and security services, was established to help get disabled veterans back into employment.
CEO Gary Cotterill comments: “The premises at Kembrey Park are ideal for our use and Highcross has been very supportive throughout our relocation.”
The Cherry Orchard scheme at Kembrey Park includes three two-storey multi-occupied modern office buildings, providing high quality refurbished suites from 700-6,000 sq ft, with allocated parking and access to the business park’s extensive facilities.
Highcross asset manager, Debbie Marshall adds: “The Cherry Orchard buildings provide high specification office space, which can be tailored to meet company’s individual requirements, including providing options for future expansion, and this flexibility was an important factor in these latest lettings. For Alder King, we have created a new office from a space which had been stripped back to its shell, enabling the firm to have a suite which met its exact requirements and located in its preferred area of the park.”
Kembrey Business Park provides 700,000 sq ft of business space, including office accommodation, warehouse and light industrial units, set in an attractive landscaped site. Facilities include CCTV and 24-hour security, on-site estate office, meeting rooms and ample parking. A hotel, restaurant, health/fitness club and coffee shop are also located at the park.
Joint agents for Kembrey Business Park are Keningtons and Loveday. Jeremy Sutton, Partner at Keningtons, who acted for Highcross said: “These two lettings demonstrate the flexibility and variety of the space available in the Cherry Orchard buildings. Alder King had new space created, whereas Wolverest was able to move directly into a suite and make use of the previous tenant’s fit out, which saved them time and costs.”
