Mercer Real Estate Partners Toasts Success At Harman House, Uxbridge

Mercer Real Estate Partners has achieved a major office letting at Harman House in central Uxbridge, before even commencing the building’s planned comprehensive refurbishment.

The 130,000 sq ft landmark building was purchased earlier this year; Mercer has now commenced refurbishment works of the common areas, exterior and the majority of the office floors to bring the space up to modern specification.

In a boost for the scheme, E & J Gallo Winery has taken 14,000 sq ft at a mid-£20s rent on a new 10-year lease.  Gallo is a family owned business as well as the world’s largest winery and will move from nearby Cowley Business Park into Harman House at the end of this year.

The refurbishment works are now progressing well with completion due at the end of 2013 when a remaining 54,000 sq ft of the 130,000 sq ft office building will be available to let.

Hanover Green and Simon Williams Commercial Property Consultants advised Mercer on the deal and are retained as letting agents.
