Danish furniture retailer, JYSK has completed on the acquisition of three former Dreams stores in Bournemouth, Grantham and Pontefract, taking its total number of stores in the UK to ten.
The retailer, which launched in the UK five years ago, is on the hunt for suitable property throughout the country to support its major expansion.
JYSK, which has over 2,000 stores across the world, has a global turnover of €2.5bn (£1.9bn).
JYSK Country Manager, Steve Stenhouse said “JYSK is finding favour with British shoppers in some of the most challenging economic conditions and part of the reason for its success is its commitment to offering customers a good deal with quality goods at low prices”.
JYSK hopes to double the amount of its UK stores within the next 12 months and is advised by property agent Morgan Williams.
