Jones Bootmaker To Open In Barnstable

September 10, 2013

Landlord British Land, advised by Kitchen La Frenais Morgan and Savills, has signed shoe retailer Jones Bootmaker for a new store in its Green Lanes shopping centre in Barnstaple.

The retailer will open a 1,580 sq ft store at unit 25 at the shopping centre after signing a ten year lease.

British Land bought the Green Lanes shopping centre in 2011. The centre is one of north Devon’s principal shopping locations, comprises more than 40 stores across 131,000 sq ft of retail space and attracts more than 5.5 million visitors a year. The scheme is anchored by Bhs and Wilkinson.

Jones Bootmaker has been making shoes and boots for more than 150 years and has more than 100 stores across the UK.

Kitchen La Frenais Morgan advised Jones Bootmaker.
