Salmon Harvester Gains Approval For Slough Residential Site

October 28, 2013

Salmon Harvester Properties, the joint venture between Salmon Developments and NFU Mutual, has been granted detailed planning consent by Slough Borough Council for a major residential development in Slough town centre.

The developer plans a £20 million 120-unit scheme, comprising a mix of studios, one and two-bedroom homes, at its site in Stoke Road, which is near to the mainline railway station and Slough town centre. The properties will be available for occupation in late 2014.

Philip Skottowe at Salmon says: “We expect strong interest in this development, given the well documented regional housing shortage and the site’s excellent connectivity. We may yet develop for the owner occupier market although entering the private rented sector market is also one of the options we are considering.”
