January 29, 2014

Scottish Widows Investment Partnership Property Trust (SWIPPT), advised by GCW and Strutt & Parker, has fully let its King Edward Court shopping centre in Windsor following a deal to mobile operator 3, who is relocating from Peascod Street.

The retailer has taken a 2,100 sq ft shop adjacent to Cotswold Outdoor and has signed a 10-year lease with a break option after five years. The rent is £105,000 a year.

Mason & Partners acted on behalf of 3.

SWIPPT recently completed its purchase of King Edward Court. The shopping centre is the dominant retail scheme in the town and tenants include Fenwick, Waitrose, Zara, H & M, Top Shop, Next, Timberland and New Look as well as a 113-room Travelodge.
