Wolverhampton Hat Trick For Realis

Realis Estates, advised by Edgerley Simpson Howe and Lambert Smith Hampton, has achieved a trio of retail warehouse lettings in Birmingham Road, Wolverhampton.

The property company has refurbished and sub-divided an open A1 retail warehouse, formerly occupied by Matalan, to create three separate units.

Aldi has taken a 16,355 sq ft store on a new 20-year lease with a tenant break clause at the end of year 15, Poundworld has signed a 10-year lease for 5,100 sq ft and Iceland has leased a 7,000 sq ft unit on a 15-year term.

Rents range from £13 per sq ft to £14.75 per sq ft.

The stores will open in March.

Aldi was advised by Rae & Co, Poundworld by Francis & Co and Iceland by Mason Owen.
