Valentine Place Portfolio Ltd and Gemaco SA, advised by Hanover Green, has let the first floor at One Valentine Place in Southwark to Flight Centre.
The antipodean travel retailer, which has 1,700 stores around the globe, has taken 3,546 sq ft on a 10 year lease at £43 per sq ft.
One Valentine Place, which is 150 yards from Southwark tube station, comprises 22,523 sq ft and is now 85% let.
Flight Centre joins Fieldglass Inc, SeaCo, Elementa Consulting and Tim Flynn Architects, which between them now occupy the 1st to 6th floors. The new Stiff and Trevillion designed building was completed in April 2013.
Alex Jordan of Hanover Green comments: “Stiff and Trevillion designed a really individual building with gallery style office space and spacious south facing terraces. The quality and location of the building has attracted some great tenants and our client is delighted that it is now almost fully let less than a year after completion.”
The remaining self-contained ground and lower ground floor offices are available comprising 3,142 sq ft.
Flight Centre was advised by Altus Edwin Hill.
