Honest Burgers, the popular homegrown British burger restaurant is opening its sixth unit close to Oxford Street at 4 Market Place in London’s West End.
Advised by Harper Dennis Hobbs, the operator has signed a 15-year lease with landlord The Langham Estate. The 1,200 sq ft unit is expected to open in April.
Founded by Tom Barton, Phil Eeles and Dorian Waite, Honest Burgers first opened in Brixton Village in 2011 and has been at the forefront of the burger craze in the last two years. Known for the quality of its burgers, beef sourced from the Ginger Pig, rosemary salted chips and friendly service, the Market Place restaurant follows openings in Soho, Camden, Portobello Road and most recently Kings Cross.
Charlie Catterall of Harper Dennis Hobbs comments, “Located off Great Portland Street and already populated by Strada, Pho and Carluccios, Market Place is popular with shoppers and office workers alike. The ground floor at 4 Market Place had been occupied by Bagelmania and the basement was vacant. Honest Burgers has successfully applied for a change of use from A1 to A3 and obtained a premises license.”
