Salmon Harvester Granted Consent For Supported Living Community

August 8, 2014

Salmon Harvester Properties (SHP) and Rock Care Partnership (RCP) have been granted detailed planning consent for a new residential supported living development at Horsleys Green, near High Wycombe.

The joint developers envisage a new supported living community, known as Wycliffe Village, comprising 200 units for independent living and specialist dementia close care.

Construction on the 25-acre site is due to start soon with completion of the scheme expected next year.

Salmon Harvester purchased the site unconditionally last year and the scheme will have a £60 million end value.

Doug Stewart, Chief Executive Officer of SHP, says:  ‘We are excited about this our first venture in the assisted living sector. We can see a powerful demographic rationale for this development and hope that our development will go some way to addressing the current demands for high quality care facilities for the elderly and infirm in this part of the Home Counties
