Retail agent GCW is looking to find at least 25 locations for The Fragrance Shop to open new stores.
The retailer which already has 171 stores nationwide, had a hugely successful Christmas with total sales up 11.8 per cent and underlying like-for-like sales up five per cent.
It opened 18 stores last year and could go beyond its target of 25 more stores in 2015 if suitable sites can be found.
The Fragrance Shop requirement is for 500 sq ft – 1,000 sq ft units with a minimum internal width of 16 ft. Covered shopping centres continue to be its main preference although high street and uncovered malls will be considered.
In addition to The Fragrance Shop brand the retailer will also look to build on the success of its premium fascia, Indulge.
GCW has been appointed jointly with Hynes Illingworth.
