Latest Letting Adds To Priory Meadow Success

New River Retail, advised by Green & Partners and Colliers international, has let another store at its Priory Meadows shopping centre in Hastings.

Cards Direct, the greeting cards, gift and partyware retailer, has taken a 2,513 sq ft shop on a new 10-year lease at a rent of £65,000 a year. The new shop, which has a ground floor sales area of 1,588 sq ft and a first floor floor of 925 sq ft, is due to open later this year.

Since New River Retail purchased the scheme last Autumn it has also secured lettings to Kidstuff, Diechmann and Schuh and a lease renewal to existing occupier H Samuel.

Stuart Mitchell, Director of New River Retail said: “We are delighted with the letting success to date through the hard work of Green & Partners and Colliers International with the introduction of these quality national retailers occupying space that has been vacant for over four years. We look forward to adding to this success further with our exciting plans to refurbish and enhance the shopping centre.”
