Commercial Estates Group (CEG), advised by Hanover Green and Bray Fox Smith, has secured two lettings totalling over 13,500 sq ft at its Maritime House office building in Barking town centre.
Archant Community Media has taken 8,356 sq ft on the 7thand 8thfloors having signed a 15-year, with breaks at years five and ten, at a rent of £14 per sq ft.
North East London NHS Trust has signed a five-year lease for 5,265 sq ft on the 2nd floor and will pay £16.50 per sq ft.
CEG has recently completed an extensive refurbishment of the 37,400 sq ft 11-storey office building to provide Grade A quality accommodation. The building is located within the town centre and a short walk from Barking railway station which provides excellent links to the City and West End.
Rachel FitzGerald of CEG said: “ We believe that Maritime House offers a great opportunity for local and central London-based companies to significantly reduce their occupational costs while remaining within close proximity to their markets.”
A further 23,775 sq ft remains available to let with floorplates averaging 5,356 sq ft.
