Montagu Evans acquires niche industrial agency Smith Young Real Estate
Montagu Evans is delighted to announce the acquisition of Smith Young Real Estate (SYRE), the niche industrial agency firm. Formed in 2010 by Jody Smith and Gerry Young, SYRE is a specialist industrial development and leasing agency operating within the south east industrial and logistics sector, with a particular focus on West London.
Each brings over a decade of proven expertise within the buoyant M25, Park Royal and West London business space markets. During their careers Jody spent 8 years working in industrial agency at JLL and Colliers before that. Gerry spent 8 years at Grant Mills Wood.
SYRE has an extensive book of high quality instructions including Stockley Close, West Drayton and Quad, Park Royal where they are acting for SEGRO; North Chiswick Business Park and Egham Business Park acting for Bilsdale/Goya; a new development on Waxlow Road for Aviva/Canmoor and Nucleus, Park Royal for Aberdeen Asset Management. Other long established clients include, Royal London, Blackrock, CBREGi and Sapcote.
