SALMON SECURES GYM OPERATOR AT CATHEDRAL SQUARE IN WORCESTER

February 29, 2016

Salmon Harvester Opportunity Fund (SHOF) has agreed a deal with gym and swim operator Fitness4less at Cathedral Square in Worcester.

Fitness4less joins Ask, Byron Hamburgers, Cosy Club, All Bar One, Miller and Carter, who are all opening restaurants at Cathedral Square during Spring 2017. The shopping and leisure destination is undergoing a £20 million refurbishment and will include seven new restaurants overlooking the Cathedral, a reconfigured Travelodge and new retail space, alongside the gym.

Fitness4less has signed a 25 year lease on a 13,121 sq ft unit, at both ground and basement level.

Stuart Rosenberg of Fitness4less comments, “Cathedral Square is in a fantastic location within a thriving city and we are confident our fresh, fun and affordable fitness offer will be welcomed by the residents of Worcester. We don’t tie our members into lengthy memberships and provide quality facilities at an affordable price of just £19.99 a month and full use of all facilities. Our aim is to create a friendly, non-intimidating atmosphere. We offer a wide range of classes and programmes for beginners and improvers, aimed at stretching and challenging fitness levels.”

Fitness4less has 12 existing sites across the South and Midlands, including several within the M25 region, Bristol and Birmingham.

Nick Webb of Salmon Harvester Opportunity Fund said, “We have an exciting line up at Cathedral Square and look forward to announcing further names shortly. Our aspiration was to find a quality gym operator that would complement the overall scheme and Fitness4less absolutely fits the bill. The development is on programme and due for handover to tenants in spring 2017.”

Salmon Harvester Opportunity Fund is advised by DMR, Hartnell Taylor Cook and Johnson Fellows. Fitness4less was advised by CBRE.
