SALMON HARVESTER SELLS ASHFORD SITE

October 19, 2016

Salmon Harvester Properties (SHP) has agreed to sell a 2-acre site adjacent to its recently completed Axiom industrial/warehouse scheme on Orbital Park, Ashford, Kent, to Tavis House Properties for £1m.

SHP took the decision to sell the site after receiving a number of unsolicited offers. Tavis will shortly be lodging its planning application for a scheme of smaller industrial units. These will complement those on SHP’s Axiom which comprises 7 units of various sizes anchored by Howdens Joinery now open for trade.

Salmon Director Pat Mahoney said: “The decision by SHP to spec fund and build out the Axiom scheme has proved a catalyst in attracting others wishing to share in the success of this strong Ashford location. We expect to sell our remaining landholdings here very soon.”

Strutt & Parker and Altus Group advised SHP with Tavis represented by Glenny.
