NEW OWNERS CONFIRMED FOR NOTTINGHAMSHIRE’S CLUMBER PARK HOTEL & SPA

March 6, 2017

Moorgarth Group has sold Clumber Park Hotel & Spa in Nottinghamshire to MGM Muthu Group from a guide price of £7 million.  Savills acted for Moorgarth Group, while Highgate Asset Management represented MGM Muthu Group.

The 3-star hotel, which has recently been refurbished, features 73-bedrooms plus a courtyard restaurant, five meeting rooms, luxury spa and modern swimming pool.  Located adjacent to the National Trust’s 3,800-acre (1,538-hectare) Clumber Park, it is also close to numerous other visitor attractions including the historic Sherwood Forest, Rufford Park and Chatsworth House.

Tom Cunningham, hotels director at Savills, comments: “As a highly profitable, luxury hotel with a strong leisure and corporate trade, Clumber Park is an attractive investment opportunity.  The UK’s regional hotel market remains buoyant and we are pleased with the strong result achieved on behalf of our client.”
