MICAWBER STREET ATTRACTS NEW TENANTS INCLUDING OLLY THE ROBOT

Aitch Group Pension Scheme, advised by Belchak Corin & Co and Currell Commercial, has agreed deals with Emotech and Holicwell Services at 17 Micawber Street, London N1.

London-based robotics start-up Emotech has signed a three-year lease on a ground floor, self-contained office comprising 1,550 sq ft. The tenant is paying £60,000 pa, which equates to £38 per sq ft. Emotech is exploring how to improve relationships between people and technology and its first product Olly, is a personal robot and smart-home hub.

Holicwell Services has also signed a three-year lease on a first floor studio, comprising 1,214 sq ft, at an annual rent of £46,500 a year, or £38 per sq ft.

Micawber Street is close to the junctions of Wharf Road and Wenlock Road and only half a mile from Old Street roundabout and 0.7 miles from Islington. It is close to the Wenlock Basin, part of the Grand Union Canal, an area which is being transformed and is attracting a wide range of occupiers.

Emotech and Holicwell Services were both unrepresented.
